Last month Australias Kerry Madsen pretty much came as close as anyone has in the past decade but, ultimately, he was no match for Mr. Perfect. After setting a new mark for an Aussie though, The Mad Man is on the brink of achieving a life-long goal.

* TONY BARTLETT: AN ALLSTAR KINDA GUY
Former racer turned car-owner Tony Bartlett is a student of the sport, having spent more than 50 years infatuated by it. After his hired driver, Scott Bogucki, wrapped up the 2014-15 Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers Australian Sprintcar Allstars championship for his team, the astute owner gives his appraisal of the burgeoning 360ci Sprintcar series.
