* 112 CARS; 23,000 FANS
The headline says it all! Competitors and race fans descended upon Warrnambool (Vic) in record numbers to celebrate the first three-night Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic. And the 42nd rendition didnt disappoint! The Oval Express team takes you to the heart of the happenings in Part 1 of our comprehensive wrap from Australias biggest speedway event.

* BORN TO WIN! Part 2
We conclude our thoroughly enthralling and highly entertaining walk down memory lane with superstar Australian Sprintcar racer Robbie Farr. In this final instalment, the once Wild Child matures into a veritable hired gun for some of the nations leading race teams as he achieves national success and, ultimately, job security with Queenslands East Coast Pipeline Racing.

* CLARKES ADELAIDE TREBLE
Adam Clarke seems to have an affinity with South Australias Speedway City. The Novocastrian is now a three-time Australian Speedcar Champion, having won them all at the Adelaide venue! This time around, Adam achieved national honours driving an Australian-built chassis and engine combination.

* MASTERFUL MODIFIED HOMECOMING
With the defence of his #A1 at home in Lismore (NSW), triple Australian V8 Dirt Modified Champion Mark Robinson appeared a short-priced favourite. However, Brisbane University graduate David Clark streaked to victory at Lucas Oil Lismore Speedway, providing the category with a highly promotable new national champ.

* HANDY HARTIGAN
West Aussie Daniel Hartigan romped home to capture the coveted Australia #1 in the ultra-competitive Wingless Sprint division. Behind the quick local, however, the battle for the minor placings wasnt quite so clear-cut, with yet more late-race controversy enveloping the event.
